For treating acne, it is recommended to use it consistently in the morning. Start by cleansing with a gentle cleanser. Next, spritz HOCL Mist 3-5 times to evenly cover the affected area (face or body). Let dry for 30 seconds, then apply 1 pump of Clarifying Cream. Allow to dry before applying a breakout-safe sunscreen.

For treating rosacea, it is recommended to use it consistently in the evening. Start by cleansing with a gentle cleanser, twice if removing makeup. Next, spritz HOCL Mist 3-6 times to cover the face and chest evenly. Let dry for 30 seconds, then apply 1-2 pumps of Clarifying Cream to cover both areas. Allow to dry before applying a soothing moisturizer if additional moisture support is needed. 

Consider using a cleanser that is gentle on your skin barrier such as the Glo Skin Beauty Gentle Cream Cleanser or Zyderma Gentle Foaming Cleanser. Christine worked with Rick, the co-founder of Zyderma to formulate this product. After working with an American brand of HOCL for years, she asked Zyderma to create a fresh, Canadian alternative with less salt content to better support the skin. Rick worked with a biochemist at University of Toronto to master the formulation, and this is how the Zyderma HOCL Mist was born.
